Lauren and Markie

Lauren Ash-Morgan, actor and a member of the SSC's board from 2011 is the Founding co-artistic director of the new theatre firm Speech of Fire. She has been the artistic director for Seoul Shakespeare Company from 2014 through the year 2019. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the costume and set designer for the production, as well as music director, composer and coach for text. The last year of her tenure she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been the director of the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut.
